In working with foundations on AI governance and policy, every engagement starts with people first.

We conduct interviews and staff surveys to understand not only organizational structures and processes, but also people's attitudes, behaviors, and feelings towards AI.

And while it may sound like the easiest part AI adoption, it is often the most difficult.

We have to navigate the subtle and not-so-subtle differences that each individual and department brings to the equation.

We have to pay careful attention to the space between AI optimism and the reality of AI adoption.

And we find that there are no black and white answers.

AI adoption exists in a prismatic continuum with hues of greens and blues, oranges and reds, all of which reflect the same nuances that make us human. 🌈
