AI: The “Collective Intelligence”

Playing off of the idea of Carl Jung’s “collective unconscious", I was struck by the parallel with AI – how these tools aggregate the knowledge and insights of millions of people.

Let’s extend this line of thinking to a "collective intelligence" in the social sector that helps…

✨ a local community health worker to translate research on global best practices

✨ a social entrepreneur to iterate on solutions tested across continents

✨ a grassroots organization to access analytical frameworks developed by large and established institutions

With AI, we can transcend barriers and amplify social change – combining “collective intelligence” with deep community knowledge and relationships.

Transformative, to say the least.
