Education in the Age of AI

Young people are growing up in a digitized world that creates a dependency on technology, which will undoubtedly be exacerbated with AI.

The question is, how do we adapt?

My philosophy is that it's time to rethink the paradigm of teaching and learning.

The challenge will not only be how to educate the next generation on using AI responsibly while developing critical thinking skills, but also understanding what it means to be human in this digital world.

What if students used AI to compile data on social movements, for example, and then interview local activists and organize community dialogues about current issues?

AI then becomes a tool to support experiential learning: listening deeply, asking meaningful questions, and understanding the human experience.

I believe in a future where we can use technology amplify our humanity, not diminish it.
