Inspired to Thrive Conference
I recently spoke about AI at the Siebert Lutheran Foundation's Inspired to Thrive Conference.
During all of my presentations and workshops, my goal is to make a highly technical subject understandable to non-tech audiences.
So I start with foundational information - a "funnel" that goes from a broad understanding of the AI ecosystem and landscape, down to AI basics, and narrowing further to organization-wide and then individual adoption considerations.
I then highlight use cases tailored to the audience, along with a framework to decide if AI is the answer (because it isn't always the answer!): identify a pain point, determine the outcomes you aim to achieve, and decide how you will measure success.
The best part is always the folks who come up to me after the presentation and want to go deeper.
At this event, one attendee approached me about prep she had to do for a board meeting that evening.
We did a quick five-minute brainstorming session together on how she could distill her framework into an AI tool, get her work done faster, and be able to enjoy the rest of the conference. 🤩
