AI Innovation Summit 2023

I had such an incredible experience yesterday at the Chicago AI Conference at 1871!

My key takeaways:

  • Within AI, our focus should be on collaboration, not competition.

  • Entrepreneurs, technologists, and regulators all speak different languages. We have to work together to have a cohesive AI framework that works across all industries.

  • Garbage in, garbage out. If the data with which we train AI systems is garbage, the results will yield more garbage.

  • As we develop more AI-powered vertical markets, we have to balance innovation and risk.

  • Chicago is one of the leading innovative cities in the US with 25% of startups led by women! (Does not sound like a lot, but in tech, it is.)

Thank you Xiaochen Zhang for bringing together such a thoughtful, thorough, insightful, and future-forward group of panelists.

I look forward to the AI Innovation Summit in 2024!
